The Far*East Movement (also known as FM) is a rapping and songwriting group with experience in producing tracks and creating music events, which formed by 2003 in California, consisting of Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif, and DJ Virman. The four of them represent different generations of Korean Japanese, Chinese and Filipino. They put together the first multicultural live music event to benefit a drug rehabilitation center in the community called "Movementality". FM's first song was their song "Round Round" featured in the The fast and the furious Tokyo Drift. Their new single "Like A G6" achieved 2nd place on the Billboard Top 100 charts and #1 on Itunes as well impressive I may say! Also finding out that, the original members of Far East Movement, Kevin Nishimura, James Roh and Jae Choung, grew up in the Koreatown in LA. Mike Posner is a 22 year old that is from Detroit Mi. He is a singer, songwriter, producer and Dj. His father is an attorney and his mother, a pharmacist Posner graduated from Groves High School (Michigan) and Duke University where he graduated in 2010 with a degree in sociology and certificate in markets and management. In 2009 he had released two mixtapes when in August 2010 he finally became mainstream with his cd 31 minutes to takeoff. After meeting Bad Rabbit Band once I became an instant fan. The band consists of Dua Boakye - VocalsSheel Davé - DrumsSalim Akram - GuitarGraham Masser - BassSanti Araujo - Guitar, they are from Boston MA. Their sound has been discribed as a unique mix of power and Soul with the definite to explode on stage. They are a combination of New Jack Swing and late 80s/early 90s dance . The group has been touring now with the likes of Mike Posner. They were on a warped tour with Travie Mccoy from Gym Class Heros. They have a very large fan base with alot of loyal fans that knew their lyrics from before they were signed and just had their music up on myspace. She is very intelligent graduating from Pittsburgh Technical Institute being a Pittsburgh native now residing in LA California. She is very knowledgeable of computers and refers herself as 'I am the Internet' never leaving behind her trusty Mac she continues to make us laugh through her videos.With over 300 million fans on Youtube IJ is a force to be recking with. The daughter of a coal miner and gym teacher, Ezarik grew up in Pennsylvania. Her parents are Michelle and Steve Ezarik. She and her younger sister Breanne, who was three grades behind her, were honor students at Benthworth,where Justine was a member of the class of 2002. Justine has two sisters who are Breanne and her youngest sister, Jenna who are also in allot of her videos. All three of them are beyond smart and talented. So i have a new artist that I just have to tell you about, I have had the pleasure facebook chatting with up and comer Aaron Lafette last night and boy what a nice guy he is. He has a chart topper that they play on heavy rotation of his local hometown station 96.5 KissFM of Cleveland Ohio. Lafette is already a home town favorite! I have seen him perform at the Ohio homecoming in which he was an opener for Kid Cudi another Clevelander, and at Bar Room where he opened for Flo Rida. With a project in the works with MGK another local rapper, he is sure getting his name and art out there. Born and raised in Cleveland he grew up around many different races and cultures or music and sound. I have had the pleasure meeting the hot new and up and coming artist Auburn. Burning up the charts with her smash LaLaLA you can't help but want t hear more. Where did she come from you may ask, well according to Auburn (born Auburn Williams) she got a head start on her music from myspace. " I was on myspace and liked to sing to people who I didn't call fans for the longest, they were myspace friends or listeners, I would just sing and post videos when I early 2007 she was discovered and was put on the Beluga heights records label mates include Iyaz, and Jason Durulo. She works with producer J R to make the catchy beats you will soon hear once her album drops hopefully end of 2010 early 2011. Auburn was born in Minneapolis where she states that she loves home, she now resides in LA.Telling us today of a story of her forbidden love for pizza and how she likes to hang with her puppy (chilli) hiding out on her down time. I have to tell you about an amazing artist named Tino (Robertino) Coury. He is a singer, song writter producer. He is on Eleventh Records which is family owened. He is also recently signed to Universal Motown Records (Vita Chambers, Shontelle, Days Difference etc). Recently turned 22 date of birth augest 17th, is enjoying is life in music now. Tino was a football player in his school days in his hometown of Pittsburgh PA untill he injured his wrist causing him to have to get metal plates. Having the injury caused him to have to change his life to his other love of music which he is amazing at. Tino cracked into the top 40 this year with is hit Diary. This catchy tune talks about how he came across a lovers diary that showed her true feelings didnt feel the same about him. Tino recently has been touring with artist such as Jason Derulo, Iyaz, The Commondoors, The backstreet boys, Drake and the New Boyz and thats jsut to name a few! He comes from a background of such a loving family of him being the the second oldest of eight children. His nationality of Italian and Lebanese gives him his striking good looks.
